The SXI Life Sciences Index is a free float market cap-weighted index with a weighting cap of 10% comprised of SIX Swiss Exchange listed shares of companies active in the life sciences (Pharma, Medtech and Biotech) sector. 

 

Global X Launch the SuperDividend U.S. ETF

Global X has launched the Global X SuperDividend U.S. ETF seeking to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the INDXX SuperDividend U.S. Low Volatility Index.

The INDXX SuperDividend U.S. Low Volatility Index tracks the performance of 50 equally weighted common stocks, MLPs and REITs that rank among the highest dividend yielding equity securities in the United States, as defined by INDXX, LLC. The components of the Underlying Index will have also paid dividends consistently over the last two years. The Underlying Index is comprised of securities that INDXX, LLC determines to have lower relative volatility than the market.

 

Barclay launched the: Barclays ETN+ Select MLP ETN.

The ETN seeks to provide exposure to a basket of between 20 and 100 MLPs meeting the criteria for inclusion in the Index.

The Atlantic Trust Select MLP Index is designed to provide exposure to a basket of midstream U.S. and Canadian master limited partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations (collectively, “MLPs”) in the GICS Energy Sector and GICS Gas Utilities Industry that trade on major U.S. exchanges and meet certain eligibility criteria, including long-term credit rating, the portion of cash flow driven by mid-stream operations and size as measured by free-float market capitalization and average daily trading value. The index may consist of both limited partnership (LP) interests in MLPs and interests in the general partner (GP) of a MLP.
