The WisdomTree Dynamic Currency Hedged International Quality Dividend Growth Fund seeks to track the investment results of developed market companies, ex the U.S. and Canada, with growth and quality characteristics while at the same time dynamically hedging exposure to fluctuations between the value of foreign currencies relative to the U.S. dollar.

Below please find a selection of some of the new ETP entered this month. I have decided to highlight the Elkhorn Lunt Low Vol/High Beta Tactical ETF in that it takes a new spin on factor investing.

Think of it as a factor rotation ETF that alternate between allocating to either a Low Volatility proxy OR a High Beta proxy. The strategy is based on a active proprietary methodology so we have tagged it as essentially active black box.

JPMorgan launch active Developed Markets HY Strategy Fund

JPMorgan is out with a new active ETF that target HY debt securities mainly in the Developed Markets. This is the first active ETF within this segment, but note the mandate is rather broad, reaching into equities and Emerging Markets. I would say de facto it is a go everywhere active HY income strategy.

The ETF seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond to the total return performance of an Index is built with a rules-based, proprietary methodology which employs a multi-layered risk-controlled approach that seeks to address the Strategy’s active risks versus the cap-weighted universe. 

Specifically, the Index seeks to select companies exhibiting attractive risk premia profiles while managing overall volatility levels and active risks

Franklin Templeton launch Active ETF on IG Corporate Credit

The Fund invests primarily in U.S. dollar denominated corporate debt securities issued by U.S. and foreign companies. 

The investment manager uses a “top-down” analysis of macroeconomic trends, combined with a “bottom-up” fundamental analysis of market sectors, industries and issuers, to try to take advantage of varying sector reactions to economic events.
